Student Volunteering Event

Children are our tomorrow, they must be involved in what is their future, their communities and their society. We at Food, Joy and Toys make sure they are aware of the challenges our local communities face, how they can be involved and what impact that creates. During our gift packaging sessions we involve as many students/children as possible, by hosting local packing sessions in their schools, homes , parks and create a network of students who want to involved and make a difference. This year we partnered with Cupertino High School’s CSF club to put together one of these sessions. While they wrapped they learned about the immigrants and refugee children they were wrapping gifts for, they learned about issues faced by that community, they learned about the Eid festival, they spent time bonding with each other and they took up the challenge of wrapping 500 gifts in two hours. Take a glimpse at our gift wrapping session with Cupertino High School CSF club.
